It Just Never Gets Old

So you might have heard it is flooding in Atlanta...it flooded once in Byron, where I grew up and our house got flooded. It was a crazy experience...my heart goes out to Atlanta folks!

However, I don't think this is ever going to get old: (click for larger image)

Credit goes to Mitzy...she e-mailed me with that gem this morning. (Her parents live in Atlanta...keep them in your thoughts)

Awww... thanks for the shout out to my folks. My dad just emailed me saying that after no rain for 5 years they have just discovered that there is a leak in the roof!

That Kanye stuff will never get old!

I have an aunt, uncle and cuz in ATL. I remember them having to ration water. Now, Kayne's up in their biz.

That's what happens when Americans live BELOW sea level.

Silly Americans.

Dawg - well, Atlanta is like 1,000 feet above sea level...but I can't speak for what in the world New Orleans was thinking! :) LOL!

LMAO! That Kanye is a piece of work! And you are right, it's going to take a while for that joke to not be funny.

I'm sorry for people of Atlanta, mother nature has a very strong power and we are just helpless against it. Hope it gets better soon!

yep. kanye is a real prize.
the most flooding i've ever gotten is on street cotrners with the gutters stuffed up.
but if you dont mind, i'll pass on the "lets row to the store" thing.

Ah, you can work that into just about anything. Beautiful.

Sunshine - so true! And yes, flooding is terrible! There is nothing you can do and everything is just...GONE. I hope everyone can bounce back quickly.

Lilli - word.

JustSome - that is the kind of flooding that happens in Savannah, however, I have lived through a real, live flood! :) I was old enough to know it was bad, but young enough to run and get the tire tube and "ride" down the street!

Capt D - and I fully intend on it!
