I am craving Mexican, sushi, oysters (steamed), BBQ and boiled peanuts. And I swear I could eat it all in the same sitting.
I went to sleep last night trying to figure out the best driving route to obtain all of these things and it appears that I am, indeed, going to have to eat most of these items at different times and locations.
I can get the Mexican and sushi at the same time because my favorite Mexican food place is right next door to a sushi restaurant.
I can get the BBQ and boiled peanuts in the same trip as the BBQ place is just down the road from the guy with boiled peanuts.
The oysters...that is going to be the one that is going to have to wait a tick. The best place to get oysters is going to be The Crab Shack and that is down on Tybee Island. And you can't JUST have oysters there, you have to get the platter. The platter means war. The way you have to attack it is a very strategic operation. After you are finished you need a shower and I am totally serious about that; you are DRIPPING in drawn butter and crab leg juices.
I am starting with Mexican food for lunch today. We will see how the rest of the weekend goes! See ya on the flip side...10lbs heavier!

But you CAN get an order of just oysters at Crab Shack. I took Noah there and he ordered some. (That is a whole other story unto itself I tell ya, lol)
Anyway, a little classy plastic plate of half a dozen oysters.
The only thing on that list that sounds any good is the mexican food. Oh well it isn't me eating it lol

Deb - oh I know you CAN get just a bucket, but when you walk into that place it is just impossible to JUST get oysters...I want the crab legs and the shrimp and the everything!!!!!

Lilli - If it helps at all, my lil yankee girlfriend thought it was the most discusting thing she had ever heard of...tried it once, hated them, gave it another try and now I can't go past a peanut stand without her grabbing the wheel and making me turn in. She loves em!
As for the oysters...I have tried them all ways, and strangely, I am not a big fan of the fried foods. How UN-southern of me!
You have got to either be pregnant or pmsing! I'm guessing one of those is much more likely than the other...

Naw to the sushi and EFFIN no way to the oysters, but I'm with ya. All the way. Well, except for the sushi and nastier than boogers oysters. But other than that, yeah. I'm down witit. Friday = Mexi and ritas. Only not this Friday (Fall Festival for the kiddies). So this week, for me, it will be Saturday = Mexi and ritas.

Dawg - I PROMISE I wasn't that drunk last night...or last week. Well, maybe a little more last week, but not THAT drunk. I think I might be craving salt. All of those foods are high in salt content...so that is what my theory is. Oysters...sex...yes...indeed...
