I really, really, really did try to keep my hair long.
Actually, it was more than a try. For the better part of a year I have been letting it grow. It just HAS to go though. I feel so boring with long hair.
SO, I am going to this:
Little spiky doodle in the back and all snazzy, with a slightly longer bang in the front! I just need to decide if I am going to dye my hair that platinum way. I told myself no dying of the hairs as my gray hair is totally awesome and really makes for nice natural highlights, but dude...I love that look!
My next hair appointment is in about three weeks. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS MOP OFF MY HEAD!

If only you had listened to me in the first place. I told ya I liked your hair short.. but no, some things never change. You never have listened to me ever. You may as well be one of my kids, they don't listen to me either. It's ok, I'm used to it.. and will you come back later and say Hey, Deb was right? Nooooo, you'll give someone else the credit, or behave as if it is a whole new idea that never occurred to you before..... its the way it has been since the day we met. Oh people I could go on and on with the stories about how she never listens to me, but that would accomplish nothing. Tomorrow she won't listen to me either. Or the day after. Or the day after that. I will just resign myself to being ignored.

Every month we go through the battle of the hair around here. My sweetie likes it longer and it drives me crazy so I want it cut off. I finally accepted the fact that I'm the one who has to deal with it so I will do what I want.
Make sure you post a picture with the final result.
Mel - you said it, sister! That is the ONLY reason I grew it out...that other half of mine likes it long. BUT it absolutely drives me NUTS long!
