Day ONE of...

Today is day one of my diet.

This diet is called the hCG diet. Krystal went on it about three months ago and during her first round she lost 18lbs. The first go round last 26 days. If I hadn't already seen Krystal go through it, I wouldn't believe it was possible for someone to stick to such a restrictive diet.

Let me share the scary numbers:

26 days (they made bad movies about that number) of the diet
500 calories a day
No Milk
No Sugar
NO DRINKING!!!

Yes, you heard it here folks. I will be going dry for 26 days.

I know my beer will miss me. I know I will miss my beer. But it will be totally worth it. I need to hack off about 20lbs and all will be well with the world.

I am at 156.4 right now and I need to be at 135.

I will try and post some pictures of progression...when I see some progression. Naturally I will be partially naked for your viewing pleasure!

BUT the good news about this diet is that you aren't hungry, even with the 500 calorie intake. In addition to the diet, you take supplements (B-12, Colloidal Silver...)along with the magic hormone called hGC, which, among other things, decreases hunger. I am doing this diet under doctor supervision, which, I believe, is the only way you can do this diet. Thank goodness my boss' parents are doctors!

Tina - much appreciated! It is all about preventative measures. Don't want the 20 to turn into 40 and so on. I am looking forward to being back in a size 10! :)

Hey, good luck with this! I know I've tried everything. Be careful when you go to a low calorie count, because when you go back to eating normally and back to drinking occasionally, you may gain that back, and more. I tried that once (a similar thing) and gained it all back + 20. It was awful. But I wish you luck and look forward to your progress! Just do it healthy ok??? I'm worried about you chica!!!!

Deb - this is being done under COMPLETE doctor supervision. I have to check in every Wednesday. You should look into this. As explained to me yesterday, this expels the fat that WON'T come back, as well as work on that pesky other fat.

Like I said, if I hadn't seen Krystal's progress, I wouldn't believe I could do it...but it didn't appear to be too difficult for her. Plus, it will do me good to lay off the drink for a minute...especially since I will be heading up there! :)

Good Luck and the most important thing is you health, so no matter how good you want to look, remember that "beauty is in the eye of the beerholder", LOL and what's important is inside :)
TRY to enjoy it and be safe about it... keep us posted and if you need any support, we are here for ya'...

Sunshine - thank you very much!! I have never been one to worry too much about what I look like, but this is to prevent me from getting to a point where I don't like my body! Thanks for the support!!

Hold up *does calculations* will that non drinking phase cut in when I am there...Nope. We're good.

Kat - oh hells naw beyotch! Believe me! I timed this PERFECT. I was supposed to start LAST week, but I was like, um, no, July 4th and then I need 26 days and then that gives me 4 days till Kat gets here...so yeah, TODAY we start. Cause KK wanted to start like on the 5th and I said NOOOOOOOOOOOO we HAVE to NOW...MUST. DRINK. WITH. KAT. and TOM.

Good luck with it! I would love to see 135 again but can't see that happening. I hope you get to where you want to be!

Lilli - Easy...sorta...it doesn't require you to work out, it is actually forbidden, so that is nice...but the diet is VERY strict and unless you have your meals prepared in advance I can see people getting frustrated and/or eating the wrong things.

As far as the amount of weight you lose in such a short amount of time...I don't think there is a program out there that can beat it. In 5 days I am a quarter of the way there already!

I have to agree with Sunshine and Deb...500 calories a day is quite dangerous. You're doctor was OK with it? I'm gonna keep checking in on you through this. I'll see how you experienced it and maybe then I'll try it. I'm already cutting out beer from my diet, so that won't be so hard for me.

Charm - The doctor is the one that gave me this diet! It is only done under doctor supervision as eating 500 calories a day, if not the RIGHT calories, WOULD be starving your body. The calories I do take in are VERY specific. Lots of protein, lots of vegetables. So far so good though!!!
