HA! You thought I was going to talk about dildos didn'tcha! Well, I'm not, at least not today.
Euro-steam vaporizer hot steam grout cleaning thingy - that is what we are going to talk about! A toy for adults.
The Larkin and Wallypog have moved into a lovely new abode. It was a foreclosure and apparently the people who lived there before decided the bathroom was a fantastic spot to leave their animals to poop and pee.
We were unaware that was what was staining the floor until we placed some grout cleaner on it and almost died from the toxic ammonia stench. Almost died people! From grout!
So then, since we didn't want to die, we decided to rent the above steam cleanin machine from Home Depot. Larkin and I did our due diligence on the matter by watching approximately 10-12 videos on YouTube. YouTube has a video for everything, doesn't it?!?
I have to say that I LOVE to clean...maybe it isn't so much the cleaning itself that I love, but I love CLEAN THINGS, and in order to get clean things, you have to clean, so I guess in a round about crazy OCD way, I love to clean.
I got all up close and personal with Larkin's grout and steamed the shit, literally, out of it.

I completely forgot to take an entire before picture, but you can see from the first picture and imagine what the entire floor looked like...this is what the bathroom looked like after:
Believe me, MAJOR improvement. I considered purchasing one of these machines, but I am not sure I would use it enough to justify the purchase...HOWEVER, just renting it twice would pay for the machine...so MAYBE. My 30th birthday IS this year, ya know. HINT.

I know what you are getting for Christmas....
And you forgot to mention the part where you enjoyed it so much you wouldn't give it to me to clean my own bathroom. It looks fabulous, and I love being able to walk barefoot in my bathroom!
I am so fortunate to have a a friend who enjoys cleaning AND drinking beer at the same time.
Larkin - yeah...that is true. But we still have the OTHER bathroom to do...you can do a strip in there. But make sure your contacts are in, cause those glasses just aren't going to work.
Hehe...I forgot about that. Kinda hard to see what you are doing when my eye spectacles are all fogged.
Ah, so that's why you were at HD.
Capt D - indeed. Tool rental was essential.
I LOVE to clean too. *sigh* Gaaaa it hurts to admit that sometimes. Anyway, I clean everything with my steamer. I don' use chemicals at all. I bought a smaller unit at Costco, made my Wagner. It came with a large pad that steams wallpaper, but is also great for killing dust mites on furniture and matresses. And a floor tool, so I wash all my floors with it once a week. I do the inside of the fridge, the stove, the shower.....and on and on. It doesn't just clean, but sanitizes everything without having to breathe the toxic fumes.
Buy one, I can promise you will wonder what you did without it!

Vixen - you have convinced me...and I know the EXACT machine you are talking about...because, you know, I maybe perhaps was shopping for one. I am ready to steam the hell out of another toilet and now that you bring the fridge thing up...wow...I need to clean. NOW.
Was this the reason for the Home Depot trip? LOL
Good job girls! Now come over and do ours???
Oh...My...God..... YES!!! the power of the STEAM CLEAN!!! It is a most magical thing, to clean with steam... it is ...heavenly...delightful...and pretty "green" and eco-friendly too! Ah hahahahaha!!!!! Yes! To clean is to be divine, darlin' so run out and buy that steam machine Vixen mentioned and clean, clean, clean away! :)
Deb - Yes, that was the reason for the Home Depot trip. And some paint too. And I would TOTALLY come over and do your floors too!
Queen - between you and Vixen I am totally convinced this is a machine I NEED!
So, if Krystal bought you one of these for your birthday you would be totally ok with it? As opposed to how pissed off I would be if my husband bought me it or and iron or vacuum for mine...
Kat - I would LOVE it! She bought me a vacuum one year and it was the best gift EVER!
Do you think one of those Shark hand steam cleaning things that you can get from Walmart and/or Target would work as well? If so I may have to get one for cleaning the shower in our bathroom (and the floor, it has tiles as well).
Deb - I think the Wagner is going to be better. Better reviews on Amazon anyway. The Wagner is the one I am going to get!
